Meetings and Events

PDM's (Professional Development Meetings) are usually held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. These meetings provide an opportunity for attendees to participate in informational presentations, network with industry experts, exchange ideas and get caught up on the latest happenings within the industry. We also conduct seminars and local plant tours. All of these meetings are aimed to promote the educational and professional development of our members. These meetings are open to both members and non-members. Come join us!

Reservation Details

To make reservations, you can pre-pay using our paypal registration form or reserve using our Online Registration Form. Please sign-up for these events 3-business days prior to the event date. Most of our events meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month, so please make your reservation accordingly. No-shows will be charged. To cancel your reservation without incurring any fees, please send an email to reservations 3 days prior to the event. Walk-ins will be accepted to our meetings; however, the menu may differ. Cost of Plant Tours & PDM Meetings is $25.00 Time of Plant Tours and PDM Meetings begin at 6:00 or 6:30 pm (unless otherwise noted). Dinner is normally served between 6:30-7:15 pm (unless otherwise noted).

CPIM Part 2

This is an interactive course for production and inventory management personnel building on the foundation layed in the CPIM Part 1 course.  This course explores in greater detail the oncepts for planning and controlling the flow of materials into, through, and out of an organization.  It explains fundamental relationships among the activities that occur in the supply chain from suppliers to customers.  In addition, the course addresses the types of manufacturing systems, forecasting, master planning, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity management, capacity requirements planning (CRP), production activity control (PAC), purchasing, inventory management, distribution, quality management and just in time (JIT) manufacturing.

It is strongly recommended that students compete the CPIM Part 1 course or pass the CPIM Part 1 exam before taking this course. .
